inBalance Barre Teacher Training

Hope has created a course for all barre lovers. Whether you are looking to become an instructor, you are wanting to further your fitness instructor repertoire, earn some CEC's or you are just looking to learn more about barre and work closely with Hope and her team, this course is for you!

Course Objectives:

InBalance Barre Certification Program through inBalance is a 35 hour program with owner and creator, Hope Pedraza, covering the traditional and modern/contemporary methods of barre training. The 35 hours are a combination of 15 seminar hours, 10 observational and 10 teaching/practice hours to be completed before testing out. In addition to learning the extensive list of barre exercises, this program includes anatomy, exercise modifications for injuries and special needs, and also the ability to teach both the group level and private level. Upon successful completion of the seminars, apprenticing requirements and the test out exam, students will receive an inBalance Barre Instructor Certification Certificate through inBalance.

***Note: These are not required to take the course, just to test out and receive a certificate.

Certification Criteria

All participants will receive a choreography manual, certificate of completion 15 AFFA CEUs and 1.9 ACSM CEU's.

* Pay program fees (includes manual, seminar, classes for observation and instruction, and use of facility for practice teaching)

* Complete entire 35 hour course (15 hour training plus 10 observation and 10 practice hours)

* $75 test out fee (you will instruct a 1 hour group class to be tested out by Hope Pedraza)

inBalance Barre SUSPENDED

InBalance Barre Suspended combines traditional and contemporary barre exercises, with pilates exercises on the mat and equipment, and the strength work of the suspension system. Each exercise has its roots in Pilates and barre and is designed to teach in a group or one-on-one setting. During this 8 hour workshop with creator of inBalance Barre, Hope Pedraza, you will learn over 100 exercises of all levels, as well as modifications for sub populations. A 70+ page in-depth manual will be given to all participants with step by step pictures of each exercise and muscle focus for each.

Pre-requisite: This workshop welcomes all mindful movers and fitness enthusiasts. (Recommended to have a general knowledge of barre fitness.)
